The Upper Scale Oyster Opener
- The best way to shuck an oyster is with an oyster opener as blade is rigid which will prise open shell easier.
- Use a tea towel to hold the oyster firmly and then push the blade into the hinge of the oyster, (the hole at one end).
- Then lever the opener upwards, or twist it to prise the hinge open.
