These delicious crab sticks are made from Surimi paste. Surimi (from the Japanese word for simulated (or imitation) seafood) is made using white fish meat and water in order to extract the protein and cut into the well recognised shape of the crab stick.

Surimi is 80% protein, high in calcium and a good source of omega-3s. Low in cholesterol and with only 17 calories per stick, it makes these crab sticks a great healthy alternative and the perfect choice for your healthy but tasty dishes.

They can be used in many salads and pasta dishes as well as the good old traditional prawn & crab cocktail. Add them to your pizza or include it in a zesty salsa or pickle.
