  • With a  beautiful texture and taste, if you are a fan of our sashimi salmon and tuna, you will love our hamachi
  • This is the hamachi you will be served in most sushi/sashimi restaurants and is quintessential for your premium sashimi feast.
  • Otherwise know as Yellow Tail, hamachi is a fish found greatly appreciated due to its delicious and buttery tasting meat.
  • This product arrives as a whole loin and cannot be portioned due to it being frozen
  • These fish have been extracted from safe sea waters, not over-fished areas, to maintain sustainability whilst still ensuring the fat reserves that are so vital to the enjoyment.
  • When you defrost the block try ensure to pat it dry before you do any knife work.
  • For the best results you should defrost the block as close to the time that you want to prepare and eat it (allowing enough time to fully defrost).
  • Whilst you can keep it in your fridge for a few days after defrosting these will not yield the best results.
  • This amazing fish can equally be enjoyed quickly seared and served with a soy sauce dip; sublime.
  • Or marinate in a light miso dressing and grill on a gently heat.
